    when I look at 5=/x2-8x+16+25 I can't figure how you got the 8x.
    (x-4)2? or (-4)2 but then that = -16 How is it -8x?

    That's from multiplying:
    (x-4)(x-4) = x squared -4x - 4x + 16
    Then combine like terms:
    -4x - 4x = -8x
